Why I developed Predators View Peep........
Originally, I developed this peep sight...for myself, as a better archery hunting tool since I am left eye dominant and shoot right-handed. I knew there had to be a better archery peep sight. And after many years of trying all the different peep sights out there and still not finding the perfect one, I decided to try to come up with one on my own. While the idea was rolling around in my mind I thought to myself that I needed to find one that would help me focus on my target quicker, without having to look down or take my eye off my target. Also, I needed to come up with a peep sight that would allow me to see better in low light situations, such as snowy or rainy, cloudy or foggy days, or the mornings when the sun is just rising or nearing evening when the sun is starting to set. Good luck, right?!? Typically with your round hole peep sights, once you draw back your bow, your peep is angled so that you have only a small part of the hole to look through especially in low light conditions. This makes it much more difficult to quickly find your target. And as hunters, we all know you sometimes only have a small window of time to take your shot. When that moment of truth arrives, you need to be ready, now.
How many times have you drawn your bow, see your sight pins but your target is just a gray spot? You know you're on your target (a deer, for instance) but you are just not sure where you are on the deer, with the Predators View Peep Sight, it allows you to see above and below your target after the bow is drawn. Now you have a sense of depth perception. The shape of the peep sight allows you to align your sight pins vertically and your anchor point controls up & down movement. One of the drawbacks of a string mounted peep sight is light diffraction, the fuzzy area around your aperture, they all have it, even mine. On a round holed peep sight, that diffraction has no where to go except make the clear viewing area of the peep sight seem smaller. With the Predators View Peep Sight the unique shape allows the light diffraction to move up & down, away from the center of the aperture, giving you a clear view.
With the help of my brother Mike, and many attempts, we feel we came up with the best solution to the problems many archers have for low light conditions. We demonstrate it to as many dealers at Dealer Shows as we can to show how it works.
